Residual Value of Depreciable Assets


The residual value of depreciable property is determined by the formula: Sn = S x (1 - 0.01 x k)^n, where Sn is the residual value of these objects after n months from their inclusion in the corresponding depreciation group (subgroup); S is the initial (restoration) cost of these objects; n is the number of full months that have passed since the date of inclusion of these objects in the corresponding depreciation group (subgroup) until the day they are excluded from this group (subgroup), excluding the period calculated in full months during which such objects did not form part of depreciable property in accordance with paragraph 3 of Article 256 of this Code; k is the depreciation rate (including with an increasing or decreasing coefficient) applied to the corresponding depreciation group (subgroup)1.
