The aim of social protection for persons with disabilities
The aim of social protection for persons with disabilities is to improve working conditions and labor safety for persons with disabilities;
creation and preservation of jobs for persons with disabilities (procurement and installation of equipment, including the organization of work by home-based workers);
training (including new professions and methods of work) and employment of persons with disabilities;
manufacturing and repair of prosthetic devices;
purchasing and maintenance of rehabilitation technical aids (including the purchase of guide dogs);
somatic and resort services for persons with disabilities, as well as for individuals accompanying persons with first group disabilities and disabled children;
protection of the rights and legitimate interests of persons with disabilities;
measures aimed at integrating persons with disabilities into society (including cultural, sports and other similar activities);
ensuring persons with disabilities equal opportunities with other citizens (including transport services for individuals accompanying persons with first group disabilities and disabled children);
purchasing and distributing printed publications of public organizations of persons with disabilities among persons with disabilities;
acquisition and distribution of video materials with subtitles or sign language interpretation among persons with disabilities;
contributions directed by the aforementioned organizations to public organizations of persons with disabilities for their maintenance1.
