The principle of efficient use of budgetary funds
The principle of efficient use of budgetary funds means that when preparing and implementing budgets, participants in the budget process, within their established budgetary powers, should proceed from the necessity of achieving set results using the smallest volume of funds (economy) and/or achieving the best result using a certain volume of funds provided by the budget (effectiveness)1.
