Psychrometers
These are special types of hygrometers. They determine the moisture content based on the difference in temperatures indicated by: (a) a dry thermometer, which records air temperature, and (b) a wet thermometer, whose bulb is constantly kept in a moist condition using a material soaked with water that absorbs heat during evaporation.
In electrical psychrometers, resistance thermometers or semiconductors are usually used instead of the non-electrical thermometers of a normal psychrometer.
