Hearing aid

A hearing aid is an electroacoustic device worn by a person and intended for compensating impaired hearing.

Its main purpose is to convert the signal generated by a sound information source in such a way that this signal can be perceived by a hearing-impaired individual with a sufficiently high degree of auditory sensation.
