Foreign investments

Foreign investments — all types of property and intellectual values invested by foreign investors into objects of entrepreneurial activity with the aim of obtaining profit¹.

Foreign investments — the placement of foreign capital by a foreign investor directly and independently into an object of entrepreneurial activity on the territory of the Russian Federation in the form of civil rights objects belonging to the foreign investor, provided that such civil rights objects are not removed from circulation or restricted in circulation in the Russian Federation in accordance with federal laws, including money, securities (in foreign currency and Russian rubles), other property, property rights having a monetary value, exclusive rights to results of intellectual activity (intellectual property), as well as services and information².
