Antisepol

Antisepol is a mixture of calcium hypochlorite and sodium carbonate. It is recommended for disinfecting walls in finished product warehouses and workshop premises. Walls are washed with an antisepol solution, thereby destroying mold. After 2 - 3 hours from washing the walls of production areas, the solution is rinsed off. When disinfecting plastered walls, antisepol is introduced into the whitewash together with freshly slaked lime and chalk. After whitewashing, walls are dried, the room is ventilated, and then the walls are whitewashed again with a 20-percent lime milk solution made from freshly slaked lime. Whitewashing intervals - 2 hours. Antisepol is prepared as follows: 3.5 kg of sodium carbonate is dissolved in 20 - 30 liters of hot water; 2.5 kg of calcium hypochlorite is dissolved in 60 - 70 liters of water and then water is added up to 100 liters; the settled clarified solution of calcium hypochlorite is poured into the sodium carbonate solution; the resulting solution is diluted twice with water and used for disinfection or freshly slaked lime or chalk is added to the solution until a semi-liquid mass is obtained, which is then used to whitewash the walls of rooms
