Operational leasing

Operative leasing — a type of leasing, under which the lessor purchases property at its own risk and transfers it to the lessee as the leased asset for a certain fee, for a specified period and under specific conditions, into temporary possession and use. The term for which the property is transferred into lease is established based on the lease agreement. Upon expiration of the lease agreement term and provided that the lessee has paid the full amount stipulated by the lease agreement, the leased asset is returned to the lessor, with the lessee having no right to claim transfer of ownership of the leased asset. Under operative leasing, the leased asset may be transferred into lease multiple times during the entire depreciation period of the leased asset (ceased to be in force as of 2002-01-29)1.
