Maker's mark — a sign of the manufacturer, an imprint placed by a legal entity, an individual entrepreneur or a jeweler-artist, or at their request by a federal executive authority performing functions of state control (supervision) over the production, use and circulation of precious metals, over the use and circulation of precious stones, excluding functions related to control upon import into the Russian Federation from states not part of the Eurasian Economic Union and export from the Russian Federation to states not part of the Eurasian Economic Union of precious stones (hereinafter — a federal executive authority performing functions of state control (supervision), on jewelry and other items made of precious metals1.
