Unified List of Indigenous Small-numbered Peoples of the Russian Federation
The Unified List of Indigenous Small-numbered Peoples of the Russian Federation is approved by the Government of the Russian Federation at the proposal of the federal executive body responsible for developing and implementing state national policy and normative legal regulation in the field of state national policy (hereinafter referred to as the authorized body), based on reports from the highest officials of the subjects of the Russian Federation (heads of the highest executive bodies of state authority of the subjects of the Russian Federation) within whose territories these peoples reside1.
