Rules for the transportation of goods by rail transport
Rules of cargo transportation by rail represent normative legal acts containing norms that are mandatory for carriers, owners of infrastructure, operators and other owners of railway rolling stock, containers, shippers (senders), consignees (recipients), owners of non-public railway tracks, other legal and physical persons. These rules regulate the procedure for accepting cargo and empty freight cars, containers for transportation, the procedure for their issuance, and determine the conditions for transporting cargo, empty freight cars, and containers taking into account their specific features, safety of movement, preservation of cargo, railway rolling stock, containers and with regard to environmental safety1.
