Local self-government bodies of newly established municipal formations — are entitled, in accordance with the law of a subject of the Russian Federation, to commence exercising their powers from January 1, 2005, and exercise their powers until January 1, 2006, in accordance with the provisions of the Federal Law of August 28, 1995, No. 154-FZ "On General Principles of Local Self-Government in the Russian Federation"¹.
