Highest governing body of the state academy of sciences
The highest governing body of the state academy of sciences is the general assembly of the state academy of sciences, which is formed in accordance with the charter of the state academy of sciences, adopts the charter of the state academy of sciences, submits it for approval to the Government of the Russian Federation, and also elects full members, corresponding members, foreign members of the state academy of sciences, the presidium and the president of the state academy of sciences in accordance with the charter of the state academy of sciences, and considers other issues specified by the aforementioned charter1.
