Common Water Use
General water use is carried out in accordance with the rules for protecting human life on water bodies, as well as under conditions determined by executive authorities of the subjects of the Russian Federation in coordination with the federal executive authority responsible for developing state policy and normative legal regulation in the field of water fund usage and protection, the federal executive authority responsible for developing state policy and normative legal regulation in the field of environmental protection, the federal executive authority responsible for control and supervision in the field of ensuring sanitary and epidemiological well-being of the population, and other federal executive authorities in the area of managing the use and protection of natural resources within their competence (ceased to be in force as of 2006-06-03)1.
