Regional Sports Federation
A regional sports federation is a regional public organization that is a member of a national sports federation (hereinafter referred to as a regional public organization), or a structural unit (regional branch) of a national sports federation, which have received state accreditation and whose objectives are the development of one or several types of sport within the territory of a subject of the Russian Federation, their promotion, organization, conduct of sporting events, and preparation of athletes who are members of the sports teams of the subject of the Russian Federation1.
