State Microfinance Organization
A state microfinance organization is a legal entity, one of the founders (participants) or shareholders (if the aforementioned organization is a joint-stock company) of which is a subject of the Russian Federation or a municipal formation, and which carries out as its main activity the activities provided for by the Federal Law of July 2, 2010 No. 151-FZ "On Microfinance Activities and Microfinance Organizations" aimed at providing microloans to small and medium-sized business entities and (or) organizations forming the infrastructure supporting small and medium-sized business entities1.
