A subsidy to the budget of a subject of the Russian Federation from the federal budget - inter-budget transfers provided to the budgets of subjects of the Russian Federation in order to co-finance expenditure obligations arising from the performance of the powers of state authorities of subjects of the Russian Federation in matters within the jurisdiction of subjects of the Russian Federation and matters of joint jurisdiction of the Russian Federation and subjects of the Russian Federation, as well as expenditure obligations arising from the performance of the powers of local self-government bodies on issues of local importance¹.
