The local self-government bodies of a newly established municipal formation are the successors of the local self-government bodies that, on the day of the creation of the newly established municipal formation, exercised powers to resolve matters of local importance on the corresponding territory, in relations with the state authorities of the Russian Federation, state authorities of the subjects of the Russian Federation, local self-government bodies, physical and legal entities (ceased to be effective as of 2025-06-19)¹.
