Tanks are armored combat vehicles on tracked running gear and have various armaments (cannons, machine guns, flamethrowers, etc.), usually located in a rotating turret. Sometimes they are equipped with special gyroscopic stabilizing devices designed to keep the sight on target regardless of the vehicle's movement. They may also be fitted with anti-mine devices such as "spike boards" (a rotating drum mounted on arms in front of the tank and attached to chains with balls at their ends), or several heavy rollers installed in front of the tank.
