State Information System in the Field of Energy Conservation and Energy Efficiency Improvement
The state information system in the field of energy conservation and increasing energy efficiency is created and operates with the aim of providing individuals, organizations, government authorities, and local self-government bodies with up-to-date information on legal requirements regarding energy conservation and improving energy efficiency, as well as on the implementation progress of these provisions, and also to obtain objective data on the energy intensity of the Russian Federation's economy (including its sectors), the potential for reducing such energy intensity, the most effective projects, and outstanding achievements in the field of energy conservation and increasing energy efficiency1.
