Bank Guarantee


Under a bank guarantee, a bank, another credit institution, or insurance company (guarantor) provides at the request of another party (principal) a written obligation to pay the principal's creditor (beneficiary) an amount of money in accordance with the terms of the guarantor's obligation upon presentation by the beneficiary of a written claim for payment
