Credit Cooperative
A credit cooperative is a voluntary association of individuals and (or) legal entities based on membership principles, territorial, professional and (or) social, except for the case established in paragraph 3 of article 33 of this Federal law, aimed at meeting the financial needs of members of the credit cooperative (shareholders), which is created in the organizational and legal form of a consumer cooperative, has the right to carry out the activities of a credit cooperative, and information about which has been entered by the Bank of Russia into the state register of credit cooperatives1.
