Barrier to ensure public and environmental safety
Safety barrier for the population and environment — packaging of radioactive waste, engineering structures of a radioactive waste storage facility and their individual parts or elements of natural geological formations that prevent the spread of radionuclides and (or) ionizing radiation into the environment1.
