Central counterparty — a legal entity that is one of the parties to concluded agreements, obligations under which are subject to inclusion in the clearing pool, holds a license of a non-bank credit organization for conducting banking operations, as well as a license for conducting clearing activities, and has been assigned the status of central counterparty in accordance with this Federal Law1.
