Waste from Healthcare Facilities


Waste from healthcare and preventive institutions refers to all types of waste generated in: hospitals (city-wide, clinical, specialized, departmental, part of research institutes or educational institutions), outpatient clinics (including adult, children's, dental), dispensaries; emergency medical services stations; blood transfusion stations; long-term care facilities for patients; scientific research institutes and educational establishments of a medical profile; veterinary clinics; pharmacies; pharmaceutical production facilities; health resorts (sanatoriums, preventive centers, rest homes, boarding houses); sanitary and preventive institutions; forensic medical examination institutions; medical laboratories (including anatomical, pathological-anatomical, biochemical, microbiological, physiological); private enterprises providing medical services
