Persons subject to verification - the declarant; customs representative; carrier, including a customs carrier; person having authority in respect of goods after their release, or his representative; person carrying out temporary storage of goods; owners of duty-free shops, customs and other warehouses; authorized economic operator; other persons who have directly or indirectly participated in transactions involving goods placed under the relevant customs procedure; a person with regard to whom information exists that goods are (were) in his possession or use in violation of the order provided for by this Code, including illegally moved across the customs border1.
