Naphthalene (naphthlene) is a colorless crystalline substance with a characteristic sharp odor; melting point - 80.28 °C, boiling point - 217.96 °C, sublimes below the melting point; density - 1.168 g/cm³ (at 22 °C). In 100 cm³ of water at 25.0 °C, 3.0 mg of naphthalene dissolves, in alcohol - 4.18 g, it is well soluble in organic solvents: benzene, toluene, diethyl ether, acetic acid
