Russian State Historical Archive

3. The Archive is a repository of documents belonging to the state portion of the Russian Federation State Archives Fund, as well as a scientific research, scientific information, and cultural center.

4. The Government of the Russian Federation ensures legal, financial, and material conditions necessary for the preservation, integrity, indivisibility, and inalienability of archive funds, their proper use and replenishment.

5. Archive documents and reference materials to them are provided for use by all legal and physical persons in accordance with established procedures under Russian Federation legislation.

6. The Archive is a legal entity, has an independent balance sheet, current accounts and other accounts in banks and other credit institutions, a stamp of the prescribed design, as well as other stamps and seals necessary for its activities
