Normative for the Use of Own Funds for the Purchase of Shares (N 12)
8.1. The normative for the use of a bank's own funds (capital) for acquiring shares (stakes) in other legal entities (N12) regulates (limits) the aggregate risk of the bank's investments in shares (stakes) of other legal entities and determines the maximum ratio between the amounts invested by the bank to acquire shares (stakes) of other legal entities, and the bank's own funds (capital). The normative for the use of a bank's own funds (capital) for acquiring shares (stakes) in other legal entities (N12) is calculated using the following formula:
