Dangerous Proximity of Aircraft

Aircraft proximity - a situation in which, according to the pilot or air traffic control service personnel, the distance between aircraft, as well as their relative position and speed, are such that the safety of these aircraft may be threatened. Aircraft proximity is classified as follows:

collision risk - category of situations where serious collision danger arose as a result of aircraft proximity;

flight safety not guaranteed - category of situations where the safety of these aircraft could have been threatened as a result of aircraft proximity;

no collision risk - category of situations where no collision danger existed as a result of aircraft proximity;

risk not defined - a category of situations involving aircraft approach, when the lack of sufficiently complete information prevents determining the collision risk, or there is insufficient convincing evidence, or the available data contradict each other and this prevents determining the level of risk

59) "dangerous approach" - an approach between aircraft or between aircraft and other material objects that is not provided for in the flight assignment at intervals less than half those established by the Federal Rules of Airspace Use of the Russian Federation;
