Artificial degradation
Artificial degre consists mainly of oxidized emulsified or polymerized fish oils (including mixtures of these oils) in a mixture with fish oil, animal fat, resinous oils, etc., and sometimes with natural degre. These mixtures are thick yellow liquids (more liquid than natural degre) with the characteristic smell of fish oil. They do not contain hair, membrane or skin waste. Upon standing, they separate into two layers, with the aqueous layer at the bottom
