Deterministic Radiation Effects


Deterministic effects of radiation - clinically detectable harmful biological effects caused by ionizing radiation for which it is assumed that a threshold exists below which the effect does not occur, while above this threshold the severity of the effect depends on the dose (para. 70 of the "Terms and Definitions" section in NRB-99 and OSPORB-99)
