Flaxseed oil


1. Linseed oil obtained from flax seeds (Linum usitatissimum). This oil is one of the most important among drying oils. The color of linseed oil varies from yellow to brownish. It has an acrid taste and odor. Upon oxidation, it forms a dense elastic film. It is mainly used in the production of paints, varnishes, sticker paper, putty, soft soap, printing ink, alkyd resins or in pharmacy. Cold-pressed oil is food-grade
