Harmful substance of lacquer and paint material


Hazardous substance (painting material): a substance that, upon contact with the human body during the life cycle of the painting material, may cause occupational diseases or other deviations in health status.

Notes

1. During the production of painting materials, volatile organic compound vapors and aerosols are considered hazardous substances. Aerosols represent dispersed systems consisting of liquid particles of volatile organic compounds and/or solid particles of pigment and/or filler suspended in the air of the working area.

2. During painting, volatile organic compound vapors and aerosols are considered hazardous substances. Aerosols represent dispersed systems consisting of painting material suspended in the air of the working area.

3. During the formation of a paint coating, volatile organic compound vapors are considered hazardous substances.

4. When using a paint coating, harmful substances include volatile organic compound vapors, free pigment and filler particles formed during the degradation of the paint coating
