Fraud


1. Fraud, that is, the theft of another person's property or acquiring a right to another person's property by deception or abuse of trust,

is punishable by a fine of up to one hundred and twenty thousand rubles or in an amount equal to the offender's salary or other income for a period of up to one year, or compulsory work for a term of up to three hundred and sixty hours, or corrective labor for a term of up to one year, or restriction of freedom for a term of up to two years, or compulsory labor for a term of up to two years, or arrest for a term of up to four months, or deprivation of liberty for a term of up to two years.

2. Fraud committed by a group of persons acting in concert, or causing significant damage to a citizen,

is punished by a fine of up to three hundred thousand rubles or in the amount of the offender's salary or other income for a period of up to two years, or compulsory work for a term of up to four hundred and eighty hours, or corrective labor for a term of up to two years, or forced labor for a term of up to five years with restriction of freedom for a term of up to one year or without such restriction, or deprivation of liberty for a term of up to five years with restriction of freedom for a term of up to one year or without such restriction.

3. Fraud committed by a person using his or her official position, or in a large amount,

is punishable by a fine in the amount from one hundred thousand to five hundred thousand rubles or in the amount of the convicted person's salary or other income for a period from one to three years, or compulsory labor for a term up to five years with deprivation of liberty for a term up to two years or without such deprivation, or deprivation of liberty for a term up to six years with a fine in the amount up to eighty thousand rubles or in the amount of the convicted person's salary or other income for a period up to six months or without such fine and with deprivation of liberty for a term up to one and a half years or without such deprivation.

4. Fraud committed by an organized group or in especially large amounts or resulting in the deprivation of a citizen's right to a residential premises -

is punished by deprivation of liberty for a term of up to ten years with a fine in the amount of up to one million rubles or in the amount of the convicted person's salary or other income for a period of up to three years, or without such a fine, and with restriction of freedom for a term of up to two years, or without such a restriction
