Judicial debates in civil proceedings


1. Judicial arguments consist of speeches by the parties to the case and their representatives. In judicial arguments, the plaintiff and his representative speak first, followed by the defendant and his representative.

2. A third party who has filed an independent claim regarding the subject matter of the dispute in an ongoing proceeding, and his representative, speak after the parties and their representatives during judicial arguments. A third party who has not filed independent claims regarding the subject matter of the dispute, and his representative, speak after the plaintiff or defendant, on the side of one of whom the third party participates in the case.

3. The prosecutor, representatives of state bodies, local self-government bodies, organizations, and citizens who have approached the court to protect the rights and legitimate interests of other persons, speak first during judicial arguments.

4. After all parties involved in the case and their representatives have delivered their speeches, they may make replies in connection with what has been said. The right to the final reply always belongs to the defendant and his representative.
