Personal Insurance Contract


1. Under a personal insurance contract, one party (the insurer) undertakes, for a fee stipulated by the contract (insurance premium) paid by the other party (the policyholder), to pay out in a lump sum or pay periodically an amount stipulated by the contract (insurance amount) in the event of harm caused to the life or health of the policyholder themselves or another citizen named in the contract (insured person), reaching a specified age, or occurrence of another event provided for in the contract (insurance event)
