Consular immunity


Consular immunity refers to a set of privileges and immunities granted to consular institutions and their staff. The scope of consular immunity is determined by the internal legislation of states, as well as multilateral international treaties, for example, the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations dated April 24, 1963, or bilateral consular conventions and international customs
