1. The Commission for Veterans' Affairs under the President of the Russian Federation (hereinafter referred to as the Commission) is an advisory body established under the President of the Russian Federation in order to ensure coordination between federal executive bodies, executive bodies of the subjects of the Russian Federation, local self-government bodies, public organizations, scientific and other organizations when considering issues related to the implementation of social protection for veterans and pensioners
