Vibration of wires (ropes)


Conductor (rope) vibration - periodic oscillations of a conductor (rope) in a span with a frequency from 3 to 150 Hz, occurring in the vertical plane under wind conditions and forming standing waves with an amplitude (double amplitude) that may exceed the diameter of the conductor (rope)
