Insanity
1. A person who, at the time of committing a socially dangerous act, was in a state of non-compos mentis, i.e., was unable to recognize the factual nature and social danger of their actions (omissions) or control them due to chronic mental disorder, temporary mental disorder, mental deficiency, or any other pathological condition of the mind, is not subject to criminal liability
