Children's and Teen Club
A Children and Youth Club (CYC) is a special type of age-based club aimed at serving children of school age and older preschool age who reside in the area and belong to low- or limited-mobility population groups. A CYC is an initial structural-type element of the unified system of out-of-school children's institutions, providing cultural development, additional education, and upbringing of children during their free time. These multi-profile institutions form the lower level of the system: the microdistrict and its residential groups. Their purpose is to provide conditions for the initial stage of a child's cultural development and socialization in close proximity to their housing.
