Chairman of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation
Chairperson of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation:
1) oversees the preparation of sessions of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation, convenes them and presides over them;

2) submits for discussion before the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation issues to be considered at its sessions;
(as amended by Federal Constitutional Law No. 7-FCZ dated November 3, 2010)
3) represents the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation in relations with state bodies and organizations, public associations, and on behalf of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation makes statements in its name;
4) provides overall guidance to the apparatus of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation, submits for approval by the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation the nominations of heads of the apparatus and the Secretariat of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation, as well as the Regulation on the Secretariat of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation and the structure of the apparatus;

5) performs other powers in accordance with this Federal Constitutional Law and the Regulation of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation.
