Alluvial mining refers to the performance of work by miners using personal labor at small deposits located in inaccessible areas and remote from populated places, involving the extraction of alluvial gold, silver, platinum, precious metals group, bismuth, tungsten, tin, niobium, tantalum, as well as amber, mica and other hard minerals, the list of which is determined by the government of the state, with a field season duration of not less than four months in a calendar year.
