Pedestrian Streets

Pedestrian streets are typically historically established connections between various territories and districts of a city, closed to traffic and adapted for pedestrian movement. The optimal length of pedestrian streets is recommended to be set at 800–1200 meters, the width should be determined based on two-way perception of objects — not less than 10 meters and not more than 30 meters (optimally 12–20 meters)
