Liquid oxygen

Liquid oxygen - a colorless liquid, odorless, not fire and explosion hazardous, non-flammable, but is a strong oxidizer. Porous combustible materials impregnated with liquid oxygen (asphalt, polystyrene foam, polyurethane foam, wood, etc.) form highly sensitive explosive substances - oxilites. Liquid oxygen poses a danger to living organisms. Contact of liquid oxygen with exposed parts of the body causes frostbite as well as injury to the mucous membranes of the eyes
