Murder


1. Murder, that is, intentional causing of death to another person, -

is punishable by deprivation of liberty for a term of six to fifteen years with restriction of liberty for a period up to two years or without such restriction.

2. Murder:

a) of two or more persons;

b) of a person or his close relatives in connection with the performance by that person of official duties or fulfillment of public duty;

c) of a minor or another person, known to the perpetrator to be in a helpless state, or committed together with kidnapping;

d) of a woman known to the perpetrator to be pregnant;

e) committed in an especially cruel manner;

f) committed in a particularly dangerous manner;

f.1) motivated by blood feud;

g) committed by a group of persons, by a group of persons acting in concert or by an organized group;

g) motivated by personal gain or committed for hire, or associated with robbery, extortion, or banditry;

h) motivated by hooliganism;

i) with the aim of concealing another crime or facilitating its commission, or associated with rape or other sexual acts involving violence;

j) motivated by political, ideological, racial, national, or religious hatred or hostility, or motivated by hatred or hostility towards any particular social group;

k) with the aim of using the organs or tissues of the victim,

l) has become obsolete - Federal Law No. 162-FZ dated December 8, 2003

is punishable by deprivation of liberty for a term of eight to twenty years with restriction of liberty for a term of one to two years, or by life imprisonment, or by the death penalty
