"veterinary medicinal products (hereinafter - veterinary medicines)" - substances used for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of animal diseases, obtained from blood, plasma, as well as organs of animals, plants, minerals by methods of synthesis or using biotechnological methods, as well as substances of plant, animal or synthetic origin possessing pharmacological activity;
