Fee for pollution of the surrounding natural environment
2.2. The pollution fee is a form of compensation for economic damage caused by emissions and discharges of pollutants into the natural environment of the Russian Federation, which compensates for costs related to mitigating the impact of emissions and discharges of pollutants and stimulates the reduction or maintenance of emissions and discharges within established norms, as well as the costs associated with the design and construction of environmental protection facilities.
