Pollution


1. "Pollution" means the introduction by humans directly or indirectly into the sea, including estuaries, of substances or energy which may pose a danger to human health, cause harm to living ecosystems, hinder lawful uses of the sea, including fishing, deteriorate the quality of seawater and reduce the opportunities for using the sea for recreation.
